Alcohol Affects Your Natural Appearance

Alcohol consumption can affect your physical appearance both the next day and more importantly for the long term as well. Alcohol is fattening to put it bluntly. did you know that in a medium size glass of wine there are over 125 calories? In a bottle of wine, the caloric content is over 500! Think about this...The recommended healthy diet is not to exceed 2,000 calories per day. One bottle of wine is 1/4 of that caloric intake. Comparing a few alcoholic drinks to the same caloric content as bars of chocolate really makes us think. Alcohol consumption also affects our sleep in one way or another. It makes our skin look pale, ashen, and tired all at the same time. It has been medically proven that alcohol dehydrates the body including the skin which is the largest organ in the human body. It deprives the skin of vital vitamins and nutrients and dialates small blood vessels under our skin making the skin appear redder. Toxins in alcohol also can bloat our skin and is known to contribute to the build up of cellulite. This is the last thing we want a build up of. If you are a casual drinker, just remember you can still drink but remember that excessive drinking will lead to flaws in your natural beauty.
